This week I decorated a cake for a friend’s birthday! It’s a basic vanilla cake because my main focus was on the exterior and appearance. I am pretty happy with how it turned out and I think the flowers are very cute, however, if I were to redo it with what I know now, I would make smaller holes in the piping bags for finer details. I would also decorate it without cutting the top off because the crumbs mixed with the icing and make it look very clumpy. Overall, I had a lot of fun and am proud of how it turned out!
